nerves
I previously wrote about feeling very anxious and apprehensive over the summer because I just couldn’t get my mind around the idea of third grade, setting up a classroom, and just being a “real” teacher vs. a push-in.
However, I am feeling more and more comfortable – even though school hasn’t even begun. This is partly due to coming back to a familiar school and familiar faces, and getting a beginning sense of what’s expected of me. Having time to set up my classroom has helped to allow all this to set in, as well. And while, yes, it’s clearly mountains more of work, it already feels more fulfilling.
